  IcouldnotgetaglimpseofeithershoreAlltherightbankbeyondLupataislowandflat:onthenorth,therangesofhillsanddarklinesbelowthemareseen,butfromtheboatitisimpossibletoseetheshore。

  Ionlyguessthebreadthoftherivertobetwomiles;itisprobablymore。
