  HisMajestymorethanoncetooksurveyofthesePilgrimageDivisions,whentheygottoBerlin。Apleasantsight,iftherewereleisureotherwise。Onvariousoccasions,too,herMajestyhadlargepartiesofthemovertoMonbijou,tosupperthereinthefinegardens;and\"gavethemBibles,\"amongothergifts,ifinwantofBiblesthroughFirmian’sindustry。HerMajestywasCharityitself,CharityandGracecombined,amongthesePilgrims。Ononeoccasionshepickedoutahandsomeyounglassamongthem,andhadPainterPesneovertotakeherportrait。Handsomelass,byPesne,inherTyroleseHat,shonethenceforthonthewallsofMonbijou;

  AtBerlintheCommissariusceased;andtherewasusuallygiventhePilgrimsaCandidatusTheologiae,whowastoconductthemtherestoftheway,andbetheirClergymanwhenoncesettled。Fivehundredlongmilesstill。SomewereshippedatStettin;mostlytheymarched,stageafterstage,——fourgroschenaday。Atthefartherendtheyfoundallready;tightcottages,tillablefields,allimplementsfurnished,andstock,——evento\"FEDERVIEH,\"orChanticleerwithamodicumofHens。Oldneighbors,andsuchaslikedeachother,wereputtogether:fieldsgrewgreenagain,desolatescrubsandscragsyieldingtograssandcorn。

  Woodenclocksevencametoview,——forBerchtesgadenneighborsalsoemigrated;andSwisscame,andBavariansandFrench:——andoldtradeswererevivedinthosenewlocalities。
