  Whensheletthedaylightintoherroom,itshowedherafaceinhermirrorthatborenotraceofconflictinganxieties。Hercomplexionfavoredthiseffectofinwardcalm;itwasalwaysthick;andhereyesseemedtoherallthebrighterfortheirvigils。
