  Mr。Fentolinshookhisheadverygently,veryregretfully,butalsofirmly。

  Hemovedsilentlytothesideofthemanwhobadrisennowfromthebed,andwhowasstandingwithhishandgraspingthepostandhiseyesfixeduponMr。Fentolin,asthoughawaitinghisanswer。
