  ThattheseSundaymeetingsinTheatresaregoodthings,Idonotdoubt。NordoIdoubtthattheywillworklowerandlowerdowninthesocialscale,ifthosewhopresideoverthemwillbeverycarefulontwoheads:firstly,nottodisparagetheplacesinwhichtheyspeak,ortheintelligenceoftheirhearers;secondly,nottosetthemselvesinantagonismtothenaturalinborndesireofthemassofmankindtorecreatethemselvesandtobeamused。
