  Ma-Sekeletu,whowaspresent,heartilyapprovedallIsaid,andsuggestedthatallthecaptivestakenbyLerimoshouldbereturnedbymyhand,toshowMasikothattheguiltoftheforaylaynotwiththesuperiorpersonsoftheMakololo,butwithamereservant。

  Hergoodsenseappearedinotherrespectsbesides,and,asthiswasexactlywhatmyownpartyhadpreviouslyresolvedtosuggest,wewerepleasedtohearMpololoagreetodowhathewasadvisedHeaskedmetolaythematterbeforetheunder-chiefsofNaliele,andwhenwereachedthatplace,onthe9thofDecember,Ididsoinapicho,calledexpresslyforthepurpose。
