Astothe“Eagle“case，treatedofinparagraphNo。3，agentlemanwellversedinthelaw，whowasincourtduringthehearingoftheappeal，hasassuredmethattheargumentwaspurelytechnical；thatthefactswereveryslightlygoneinto；andthat，sofarasheknows，nodissentingcommentwasmadeonthestricturesoftheJudgebeforewhomthecasefirstcame。Moreover，inthejudgmentoftheMasteroftheRolls，fullyrecordedinthe“Times“ofFebruary14th，1884，thefollowingpassagesoccur：——
