  OftheBattleofMollwitz,asindeedofallFriedrich’sBattles,thereareampleaccountsnewandold,ofperfectauthenticityandscientificexactitude;sothatinregardtomilitarypointsthedueclearnessis,onstudy,completelyattainable。Butastopersonalorhumandetails,wearedrivenbackuponamiscellanyofsources;

  mostofwhich,indeedallofwhichexceptNicolai,whenhesparinglygivesusanything,areofquestionablenature;
