suchlampsasthesun,moon,andstars;oranyfigurestobecomparedwithliving,loving,mutually-helpfulmen?WherearethereanyrecordsofGod’sgoodnesssoeasytounderstandastheblessingswhichGodhasstrewnabroadforman’shappiness?Whereisthereanybookofthelawsocleartoeachmanasthatwritteninhisheart?Whatsacrificesequaltheself-denialswhichlovingmenandwomenmakeforoneanother?Andwhataltarcanbecomparedwiththeheartofagoodman,onwhichGodHimselfacceptsthesacrifice?

AndthebetterheknowsGod,thenearerwillhedrawtoHim,imitatingHisgoodness,Hismercy,andHisloveofman。
