Othersagainmightbepersuaded，thatnofataluseatleastwouldbemadeofthepoweracquiredbycorruption;andmenofsuperiorpartsmightandmaystillflatterthemselves，thatifthispowershouldbesoemployed，theyshallhavetimeandmeanstostoptheeffectsofit。Thefirstoftheseareseducedbytheirignoranceandfutility;thesecond，iftheyarenothypocrites，bytheirprejudices;thethird，bytheirpartialityandblindconfidence;
